We offer a variety of packages at very competitive rates. Both 3-day and 1-day packages are available. Take advantage of special rates for presenters, members of supporting organizations, students and groups.
Registration for Cannexus18 will open on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.
A full conference registration includes three breakfasts, two lunches, all refreshment breaks and a wine & cheese on the first day of the conference as well as admittance to all keynotes and concurrent education sessions.
Attend either the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Includes the complete functions for that day.
Start your Cannexus conference with an optional pre-conference workshop. All workshop fees are extra. Bundle any two pre-conference workshops together and save $35. Register early as seating is limited!
All presenters are required to register for the conference and receive a discount. Presenters may choose either a full 3-day or a 1-day registration.
Member of a Supporting Organization
Members of a broad-based network of Cannexus supporting organizations receive a discount on registration. Register by the Early Bird deadline for a 10% discount and receive a 5% discount after this date. Please note that group rates do not apply on top of the supporting organization discount. Only one discount may be selected.
Note: Supporting organizations are listed in the order they signed on not alphabetical order, so you may need to scroll through the list to find your supporting organization.
Applicable to full-time students only. A letter from the school registrar on official letterhead is required to confirm student status. Please email email@example.com.
If you register 5 or more delegates from the same organization at the same time, you qualify for the group rate of 10% off registration fees until the Early Bird deadline and 5% thereafter.
Confirmed exhibitors will be sent an Exhibitor Package with further details in September 2017.

Conference Registration Policies
Support Persons Policy
Cannexus does not charge a registration fee to any person who is considered to be a support person accompanying a delegate with a disability to the conference. Please ensure that you inform us if you have a support person in the “Accessibility Needs/Special Dietary Considerations” section of your registration and include your support person’s name so that we can create a delegate badge for him/her.
As is customary at conferences, a photographer/videographer will be present taking images of the proceedings, which may include delegates. By registering for the conference, you consent to your photo/video being taken and published by CERIC as part of Cannexus-related materials.
In response to health concerns, CERIC wishes to limit the use of scented products at its events. Scented products such as hair sprays, perfume and scented deodorants may trigger reactions such as respiratory distress and headaches. In consideration of others, people attending the event are asked to limit or refrain from using scented products. Your co-operation is appreciated.
It is regrettable that you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. Although we sympathize please note that we have a cancellation policy that helps us cover fixed costs due to non-attendance, regardless of circumstance (food and beverage orders, programme printing and transaction costs associated with your registration – none of these can be altered so there are real costs involved).
Delegate substitutions are permissible. Please notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you intend to transfer your registration to another person. Supply us with that person’s name and contact information, including their email address. If a substitution results in a change in delegate type (e.g. moving from Presenter to Regular registration), the substitute delegate will be required to pay any difference in registration rate.
Requests for cancellation(s) must be made by emailing your request to email@example.com. Cancellation requests must be received before January 5, 2018 at 11:59 pm ET. NO REFUNDS are granted after January 5.
An administrative fee on a sliding scale will be deducted from any refund for a conference registration (including optional workshops) as follows:
- 20% fee for cancellations requested May 24, 2017 – September 6, 2017, 11:59 pm ET
- 25% fee for cancellations requested September 7, 2017 – November 1, 2017, 11:59 pm ET
- 30% fee for cancellations requested November 2, 2017 – January 5, 2018, 11:59 pm ET
If a cancellation to a group conference registration order results in fewer than 5 delegates attending, the group discount no longer applies and this difference will be deducted before your refund is issued.
Refunds will be issued within two weeks after receipt of the written notice.
